Do I need my birth details for these pages?
No. Everything in this section works from your rashi alone. A personal birth chart, dasha timeline or matchmaking report needs an exact birth time and place.
What is a rashi, exactly?
Your rashi is your Moon sign: the zodiac sign the Moon occupied at birth. It is not the same as the western sun sign.
Which zodiac do you use?
NaamSetu uses the sidereal zodiac with Lahiri ayanamsa, the standard for Vedic astrology and the Indian civil calendar.
Where do the planetary positions come from?
They are calculated on demand by NaamSetu’s astronomy engine, to the minute, rather than looked up in a table or written by an AI.
